Brandon spent his formative bass playing years playing the Sydney pub circuit before studying under the tutelage of some of Sydney’s most experienced session players such as Mark Costa (Australian Idol Band) , Leon Gaer and Andrew Meisel (Australian Ballet and Opera Orchestra).
Gaining experience in a wide range of genre’s from Jazz to Rock, to Country to Dance and even Hungarian Polka’s, Brandon’s bass playing has taken him on several national tours including such influential musicians as violinist Martin Lass plus international performance contracts in Dubai, Bahrain and Oman where his love of jazz and electronic dance music blossomed.

Since forming Papa Groove in 2002 Brandon has performed in an extensive array of musical situations from jazz festivals, corporate events, cabaret and corporate jingle production with several noted clients including NSW Harness Racing, Sky Racing Queensland and Rezzie's Betta Electrical. Brandon has proven himself a highly versatile and adaptable musician and has established himself as a sought after session musician and music producer.

In the never ending pursuit of knowlege and excellence Brandon has commenced studies in a Bachelor of Music Degree at Newcastle Conservatorium majoring in Double Bass. His studies are expsoing Brandon to a wide range of styles including Orchestral Studies and other classical genres as well as a continuation of jazz studies.

Brandon is available for freelance performances and recording sessions.
